What I Used To Make This Recipe
One of the beauties of this recipe is that it is easy to make. And it requires minimal kitchen items to make it. I have included a list of items below that I used to make this recipe. I have also included the links to make it easier for you to find them.
Ingredients For Ham And Cheese Crescent Roll Ups
- 1 Can Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
- 16 Slices Of Ham or Deli Sliced Ham I like to place two pieces of ham on each crescent roll.
- 4 Slices Cheddar Cheese Each slice cut into four equal slices.
- 2 Tablespoons Melted Butter
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Dried Parsley
How To Make Ham And Cheese Crescent Rolls
Preheat an oven to 350 degrees Fairenheight. If your can of crescent rolls calls for a different temperature then follow those instructions.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or spray it with Pam Non-Stick Cooking Spray. This will help to keep the ham and cheese crescent rolls from sticking to the baking sheet.
Open a can of Pillsbury Refrigerated Crescent Rolls and roll out the pastry dough. Use a knife to cut out the perforated triangles. Take the squares of cheddar cheese and cut them into four equal pieces.
On each triangle layer cheese, ham, then more cheese. Roll the crescent roll up to make a croissant shape. Continue this process with all of the crescent rolls until they are all completed.

In a microwave safe bowl melt the butter. This usually only takes 15 seconds for room temperature butter.
Add the garlic salt and dried parsley to the butter and mix it completely. Using a pastry brush lightly brush the garlic butter onto the ham and cheese crescent roll ups.
If you do not have a pastry brush then lightly spoon the garlic butter over the ham and cheese crescent roll ups.

Place the baking sheet with the ham and cheese crescent rolls into the oven. Bake it for 14-16 minutes or until golden brown. Longer if you like your crescent rolls to be crispy.
Remove the baking sheet from the oven and allow them to cool for 5 minutes prior to serving.

How Do You Store Ham And Cheese Croissants
If you’ve ever indulged in the savory delight of ham and cheese croissants, you know how important it is to store them properly. This is to preserve their freshness and flavor. Whether you have leftovers or want to make a batch ahead of time, here are some handy tips on how to store ham and cheese croissants:
- Refrigeration is key: Ham and cheese croissant rolls contain perishable ingredients like ham, cheese, and buttery dough. Therefore, it’s crucial to refrigerate them promptly if you don’t plan on consuming them right away.
- Wrap them tightly: After allowing your croissants to cool down completely, wrap each one individually in plastic wrap or aluminum foil. This step helps maintain the moisture level inside the croissant while preventing any external odors from seeping in.
- Store in an airtight container: Place the wrapped Ham and cheese croissant rolls in an airtight container or resealable plastic bag. This is for extra protection against air exposure and potential moisture loss. Make sure the container is large enough to accommodate all the croissants without squishing them.
- Labeling: If you’re storing multiple batches with different fillings (e.g., ham only, ham and cheese), consider labeling each package with its contents and date of preparation. This will help you keep track of what’s inside the containers without having to unwrap each one.
- Freezing for long-term storage: If you want to extend their shelf life beyond a few days, freezing is an excellent option. Follow steps 1-3 above before placing your wrapped croissants into freezer-safe bags or containers suitable for freezing.

Reheating Frozen Ham And Cheese Crescent Rolls
Once you have successfully stored your Ham And Cheese Crescent Roll Ups how in the world do you reheat them? Here are some tips on successfully thawing and reheating this recipe.
- Thawing frozen croissants: When ready to enjoy your frozen Ham and cheese croissant rolls, remove as many as needed from the freezer bag/container. But leave them wrapped until fully thawed at room temperature (this usually takes a few hours). Unwrapping them too early can cause condensation and make the croissants soggy.
- Reheating: To enjoy your stored or thawed croissants warm, you can reheat them in an oven. Preheated it to around 325°F (163°C) for about 5-10 minutes until they regain their flakiness and warmth. Avoid using a microwave as it may lead to uneven heating or result in a hard inedible Ham and cheese croissant roll.
